Foreword: providing a unique perspective on higher education

We are pleased to launch the first edition of India Education Quarterly – a publication that will provide a unique perspective on emerging issues and opportunities in the field of higher education. With a focus on India and issues relating to international education, IEQ will feature insightful articles by leading experts, key stakeholders and those most affected – students themselves.

This first edition focuses on Canadian leadership in international education and the history of partnership between the two countries. Future editions will address challenging issues around the globalization of education, including: harmonization of educational standards, accreditation, portability of skills, recognition of degrees and designations, and education policy.
